What Marty discovered
about the superhero community
was how difficult it was
to be accepted into it;
he found a friend named Gateway,
a mentor for budding heroes.
Gateway had been around
since the Golden Age,
and told Marty
how Wesley Dodds himself
had done the same for him,
and how it was an honor
to finally return the favor.
